Lonley Torment

alone,
that's all I've ever been,
it seems normal in my life,
thought I know its not,
I've seen people together,
walking, playing, just hanging out,
shopping, eating out, or doing nothing,
but not me.
I wasn't always alone,
I used to have friends at my backdoor,
we did lots together,
I was never alone,
until the universe decided to use a power called,
time,
as time went on,
we all grew up,
friends moved, turned on me and so on,
now I'm alone during summer,
unlike most kids I dread summer,
sure,
I hate homework as much as the next girl,
but I don't like to be alone,
I know I have family to talk to,
but they don't share the interests I have,
that's why its hard to talk to them,
they don't get it,
I'll be honest I cant wait for school to start,
and end my lonely torment.
