scorpiospine

these are hive dragons and live much like ant or termites. there are 5 groups, not including the queen.

the warriors: generally black with grey spines and wing skin. their spines and claws are huge.
hunters: their coloration vary on the hives habitat. large claws and teeth.
nurses: are red with light blue. care for the young and wounded
servants: are grey and grey. their spines, teeth and claws are small
royal ladies: are blue to royal blue with neon green. the queens royal court. only female.
the queen: are purple to royal purple with red. always female.  

all Scorpiospines, excluding the queen, grow 4 feet to the shoulder. the queen grows to six foot at the shoulder. the hive emblem is always above the right shoulder. this drawing is of the last queen of the Uriga hive that was recently taken over by their long time rivals the Togato. all Scorpiospines have venom in their 44 spines, the queen and warriors being the strongest. the nurses and servants being the weakest.
